NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY (AGE)

In accordance with Chapter III, Article 1-2 and Chapter VIII, Articles 1 and 2 of the Statutes of the Mediterranean Bowling Confederation (MBC), the Executive Committee hereby convenes an Extraordinary General Assembly (AGE) to propose modifications to the MBC Statutes.

Details of the Extraordinary General Assembly:

  • Date: Sunday, 26 October 2025

  • Time: Immediately following the conclusion of the European Bowling Federation Congress

  • Venue:

    Hotel Exe Vienna

Ottakringerstrasse 34-36,

1170 Vienna, Austria

This AGE will take place in person and will follow all requirements for quorum and voting as per the statutes.

Agenda:

1. Opening of the Meeting by the President

2. Roll Call of Member Federations

3. Confirmation of Quorum

4. Presentation of Proposed Amendments to the Statutes

5. Voting on Amendments

6. Closing Remarks

The proposed modifications to the statutes will be circulated to all affiliated member federations no

later than 26 September 2025 (at least one month in advance), in accordance with Chapter VIII,

Article 2 of the statutes.

Each member federation is reminded:

  • Only one (1) delegate per federation may vote.

  • Proxy voting is not allowed.

  • Federations must be up to date on their membership fees to participate and vote.

Purpose:

The AGE is convened to make the MBC Statutes more flexible and adaptable, enabling the confederation to respond more effectively to evolving circumstances while continuing to operate in harmony with IBF and the ICMG Charter.

We urge all affiliated national federations to ensure their attendance and active participation.

MBC Newsletter – May 3, 2025 Outcome of the Extraordinary General Assembly and Election of the New Executive Committee The Mediterranean Bowling Confederation (MBC) convened its Extraordinary General Assembly (AGE) on April 28, 2025, at the Rollhouse Bowling Center in Ankara. This assembly was held in accordance with the MBC Statutes and formally requested by the following member federations:  Croatia Bowling Federation  Tenpin Bowling Association of France  Gibraltar Tenpin Bowling Association  Israel Bowling Federation  Italian Billiard and Bowling Federation  Bowling Federation of Kosovo  Malta Bowling Association  Portuguese Bowling Association  San Marino Bowling Association  Slovenia Bowling Federation  Tunisia Bowling Federation  Spanish Bowling Federation  Serbia Bowling Association  Turkish Bocce, Bowling and Dart Federation The MBC extends its appreciation to these federations for their active role in supporting the democratic governance of the Confederation. Election of the New Executive Committee Elections were conducted during the Assembly in accordance with the MBC Statutes. The newly elected Executive Committee is as follows:  President: Marios Nicolaides (Bowling Federation of Kosovo)  Vice President: Cosimo Zecca (Italian Billiard and Bowling Federation)  Treasurer: Hunter Beatrice (Tenpin Bowling Association of France)  Committee Member: Ümit Yıldırım (Turkish Bocce, Bowling and Dart Federation)  Committee Member: Cristina de Jesus Coutinho Soares (Portuguese Bowling Association)  Committee Member: Rick Vogelesang (Malta Bowling Association) No nominations were received for the position of Secretary-General.
