Outcome of the Extraordinary General Assembly and Election of the New Executive Committee
The Mediterranean Bowling Confederation (MBC) convened its Extraordinary General Assembly (AGE) on April 28, 2025, at the Rollhouse Bowling Center in Ankara. This assembly was held in accordance with the MBC Statutes and formally requested by the following member federations: Croatia Bowling Federation

Italian Billiard and Bowling Federation
Bowling Federation of Kosovo
Malta Bowling Association

Turkish Bocce, Bowling and Dart Federation
The MBC extends its appreciation to these federations for their active role in supporting the democratic governance of the Confederation.
Election of the New Executive Committee
Elections were conducted during the Assembly in accordance with the MBC Statutes. The newly elected Executive Committee is as follows:
President: Marios Nicolaides (Bowling Federation of Kosovo)
Vice President: Cosimo Zecca (Italian Billiard and Bowling Federation)
Treasurer: Hunter Beatrice (Tenpin Bowling Association of France)
Committee Member: Ümit Yıldırım (Turkish Bocce, Bowling and Dart Federation)
Committee Member: Cristina de Jesus Coutinho Soares (Portuguese Bowling Association) Committee Member: Rick Vogelesang (Malta Bowling Association)
No nominations were received for the position of Secretary-General. The position remains vacant, and a further communication will follow regarding the nomination process.
Acknowledgment of Outgoing Committee Members
The MBC wishes to formally recognize and express its sincere appreciation to the following outgoing Executive Committee members:
Mr. Athanasios Vasileiadis
Mr. Leonidas Maragkos
Mr. Ahmed Nasr
These individuals have demonstrated longstanding dedication, professionalism, and integrity in their service to the MBC. Their efforts have been instrumental in promoting the development and governance of bowling across the Mediterranean region.
Although they have chosen not to stand for re-election, their legacy of leadership and service will continue to be valued and respected by the MBC and its member federations.
